Regina’s found a way to make popsicles slightly less messy:
My toddler likes to eat those popsicles that come in the long tubes that you put into the freezer and eat straight out of the plastic. However, the tubes are way too long for her to push the frozen ice up through and when she finally pushes it hard enough, it usually ends up on the floor. So, instead of cutting off one end and holding it for her, we cut them straight across the middle into a more manageable size and then she can handle them herself.
This is great advice if you use Pedialyte Freezer Pops which are so much more appealing than an electrolyte drink when your kid needs extra hydration. This is also how I treat yogurt tubes — store them in the freezer and cut them in half for younger kids.
